Ecademy Profile Hyperlinks

Creating hyperlinks to other webpages in your Ecademy Profile is is simple and gives you the ability to create powerful link associations in your Ecademy Profile to your name or other relevant keyword phrases you want to associate to content you want to drive higher in search engine rankings.

Google and the other search engines will begin to build keyword phrase associations with the text and URL hyperlinks you create as they find them when indexing your Ecademy content.

You can hyperlink text in your profile by when editing your profile (i.e., Edit Directory information) simply by highlighting the text you want to hyperlink:

  • Simply highlight the text you want to hyperlink (in this example, I have highlighted: Internet Presence).
  • Then click on the round globe with chain link button located at the right end of the Profile Text formatting tool bar.
  • Then type in the URL (in this example: http://www.search-advantage.com) you want to hyperlink the selected text to in your Ecademy Profile.
  • Click OK to close the hyperlink dialog box .
  • Scroll to the bottom of the Edit Directory information window, and click "Save Directory Information"
  • When you click on the text you just hyperlinked in your Ecademy Profile, you'll be taken to the associated URL's webpage (in this example: http://www.search-advantage.com)
As you create and publish Ecademy blogs, articles, MarketPlace ads, and other content on the site, you simply extend the same concept of creating link associations in your Ecademy Profile to the additional content you publish on Ecademy.

When Google and the other search engines re-index your Ecademy Profile they will spider all of the hyperlinks you created in your profile and create high ranking associations with the content behind the hyperlinks when relevant keyword phrases are searched upon (e.g., your name, "Internet Presence", etc.).

This is how I drove my 1-page personal bio that sits on my compay's website to the first page of Google, MSN, and Yahoo
associated with the keyword phrase:
RON BATES

This is how I drove this website (www.Search-Advantage.com) to the first page of Google associated with the keyword phrase:
INTERNET PRESENCE
